Built in 1932, the cathedral like venue welcomes patrons with a marble and mosaic foyer and vaulted ceilings. The auditorium with its splendid pipe organ combines stained glass windows and aboriginal motifs on the ceiling. Seating 974 patrons in air conditioned comfort, Winthrop Hall's bright acoustic is ideal for choral and classical music.

The best parking can be found at UWA's Car Park 1Car Park 2 and Car Park 3. Refer to the UWA Campus Map for locations.

Located at the University of WA Campus on Stirling Highway, and is serviced by buses on both Stirling Highway and Mounts Bay Road. There is a set down/pick up point behind the theatre suitable for cars, taxis, maxi taxis & small buses. Enter off Hackett Drive adjacent to University House.
