We are delighted to announce that Philip Rolfe will join Perth International Arts Festival as Executive Director for our 2017 Festival.
A well respected arts director, producer and administrator, Philip has held diverse and influential roles in the arts sector over 35 years including Executive Producer Sydney Opera House, Executive Director Audience & Market Development Australia Council, and Deputy Director Arts & Entertainment Australian Bicentennial Authority.
Among his many cultural achievements, career highlights include conceiving and producing the biennial Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM); developing and producing the first Vivid Live music festival in Sydney in 2009; creating and directing the Parramasala Festival of South Asian Arts in Parramatta in 2010–12.
In 2013 his career achievements were recognised through receiving the prestigious Sidney Myer Fund's Facilitator's Prize.

Philip will commence the role of PIAF Executive Director in June for the 2017 Festival program, which will be announced on Wednesday 9 November 2016.
