About

In 2016 we’re inviting you to fall in love with cinema as we present Lotterywest Festival Films in the Great Southern. Twelve films from around the world will be screened in Albany, with two special features also being shown in Denmark.

At Orana Cinemas the program includes yearning romance (In Harmony, Blind Date), thoughtful real-world drama (A Perfect Day, Tangerines, Queen and Country, Dheepan), and lively kids (The Crow’s Egg). Dreamy fantasy comes courtesy of Tale of Tales and The Brand New Testament, and Mia Madre is a beautiful film about family.

At Denmark Civic Centre seek out Dark Horse for an exhilarating true story (screening Fri 4 Mar, 7pm) and The Brand New Testament for a humorous take on religion and society (screening Sat 5 Mar, 7pm).
